One of my desired Chinese recipes. I just love vegetables mixed with various ingredients such as meat, seafoods, and egg. this recipe is just ideal for a veggie lover. It was gone so quick.
Main Ingredients:
1 kg. chicken breast
Chicken Liver
1/4 kg. Shrimp (optional)
1 doz. Quail Eggs (optional)
4 pcs. carrots, sliced
1 med size cabbage, sliced
2 pcs. chayote, sliced
green beans, sliced
8 tbsp. soy sauce
2 ½ tbsp. oyster sauce
1/4 pack cream of mushroom
6 tbsp. cornstarch in 1 c. water, mixed
Saute:
Vegetable Oil
1 c. onion, diced
3 cl. of garlic, diced
Cooking Procedure:
1. Cut chicken into slivers
2. Saute Garlic and Onion
3. Put Chicken and let cook for about 1 minute
4. Put Chicken Liver and Shrimp and let stand for 2 minutes
5. Add Soy Sauce and Oyster Sauce and simmer for 2 minutes
6. Add Chayote and Carrots, let stand for 4 minutes
7. Add the remaining vegetables
8. Pour in the cream of mushroom and cornstarch diluted in water
9. Voila! Serve hot and Enjoy!
Suggestion:
- Do not overcook the Veggies
- Avoid stirring, tossing the vegetable is preferred
- Cook in a High Flame
